Children groups: The price is valid for children accompanied by an adult in the park. One adult can accompany up to 2 children.

What is an adventure park?

The Otočec Adventure Park is an adventurous trail along the forest, but not on the ground! Visitors are lifted up into the treetops where they commence their exciting climbing journey among the trees along the range made up of bridges, ladders, nets and other props.

The range enables you to explore the world from a completely different perspective. It is composed of 4 different tracks with 46 climbing adrenalin-pumping adventures. Each participant can choose their own difficulty level to overcome in two to three hours.

All the tracks are adjusted to the natural placement of trees and this is why each of them is unique. The purpose of the Otočec Adventure Park is to have fun and to spend free time creatively in the outdoors. Not only children but also grown-ups can have lots of fun participating in the activities and this is why a visit to the park is a whole-family adventure.

Yellow track

For participants from the age of 5 to the age of 12, minimum height 140 cm (height measured with arms stretched), 9 attractions.

Orange track

For participants over the age of 5, minimum height 140 cm (height measured with arms stretched), 15 attractions.

Green track

For participants over the age of 8, minimum height 160 cm (height measured with arms stretched), 7 attractions.

Blue track

For participants over the age of 8, minimum height 160 cm (height measured with arms stretched), 14 attractions.

Last admission to the park is at least two hours prior to closing. Opening hours are weather dependent.

Opening hours can be adjusted for groups (min. 15 people).

Why spend a day at our adventure park?

The Adventure Park offers ecologically oriented spare time activities that enable you to spend healthy free time in the outdoors. The visitors strengthen their physical as well as mental abilities by participating in the activities and they rediscover their need and desire for team work.

The activities at the park are exciting for children as well as grown-ups, individuals as well as groups, families and also work teams. A day at the adventure park is for sure a versatile and useful experience especially for children who nowadays tend to spend most of their time in front of computers and television and they tend to forget the delights that outdoor activities offer. Despite the safety wire ropes, they still feel independent as they can freely fall and overcome different fears due to the same ropes while testing their abilities. Climbing improves their balance and motor coordination, strengthens spatial coordination and eases their fear of depth. Climbing range is an excellent game-based learning activity that offers physical and mental challenges. At the same time it accustoms the children to obey the rules and regulations.

You can finish your adventures at the park after two to three hours, or you can prolong them and upgrade them into a sports-adventure day that besides a climbing range also includes additional activities such as swimming in thermal pools at Terme Šmarješke Toplice Spa, knights tournaments (archery, Count’s ducats hunt, fencing), sport games at the outdoor courts at the sports centre and getting acquainted with the game of golf at the Otočec Golf Course.

Our friendly and well-trained instructors and animators accompany you during all the activities in the park. Parents and other guardians that do not feel like climbing can cheer for their loved ones underneath the treetops, take a walk along the beaten trails in the woods or perhaps visit Otočec Castle and enjoy themselves on the banks of the Krka River sparkling in the sun. You will be able to enjoy the shade of the trees and cool yourself down with refreshing drinks despite the summer heat.

We take care of safety

The whole Adventure Park was built in accordance with the SIST EN 15567-1 EU standard and as such guarantees 100 % safety of all the visitors.

Our specially trained instructors are here to take care of your safety. The cutting-edge gear Black Diamond, Salewa and Petzl and our restriction that only people taller than 140 cm (height measured with arms stretched) or children above the age of 5 can take part in the activities take safety to the highest level.

Children under the age of 16 can only participate in the activities if accompanied by a responsible adult! One adult can accompany no more than two children.

Each participant can decide by himself / herself which adventure track he / she would like to overcome.

All the programmes for the organized school groups are led by professional instructors that monitor the park activities and therefore they need not to be accompanied by adults. Being the organizer, we reserve the right to stop the programme at the Adventure Park in case of severe violation of safety and conduct rules and regulations due to ensuring safety of the children.

We highly recommend you wear sportswear when participating in the activities at the Adventure Park.
